Strategy Overview & Analysis. This system is called the Reverse Martingale for a reason. While the Martingale system advises you to double your bet after each loss, this one tells you to do the exact opposite – double your bet after each win. You start by wagering the lowest amount of money possible on one of the even bets. A martingale is any of a class of betting strategies that originated from and were popular in 18th-century France. The simplest of these strategies was designed for a game in which the gambler wins the stake if a coin comes up heads and loses if it comes up tails. The Martingale system is the most popular and commonly used roulette strategy. The concept behind it is pretty simple – you increase your bet after every loss, so when you eventually win, you get your lost money back and start betting with the initial amount again. It seems quite logical, and it's fairly easy to understand and implement.

Originating in 18th century France, a Martingale betting system was seen as a fool proof way for those with a seemingly endless supply of cash to beat the odds and always end up with a profit. Whilst in theory this method and system will return players with an eventual profit, a run of bad luck can soon see the bets needing to be placed reaching astronomical amounts, and does anybody really have a limitless bankroll if faced with these circumstances.

how does thE MARTINGALE ROULETTE strategy work?

The Martingale Roulette Strategy is a very easy and simple method to perform, it requires the player to only wager on even money bets. All even money bets in roulette are red or black, odd or even, 1-18 or 19-36. Mathematically these are not technically a 50/50 bet, as if the zero lands then you will lose, the actual chance of winning is 48.65% when using this method on a European Roulette wheel as there is only one zero present.

So to start the strategy you need to place your even money bet, for this example we will choose red and bet the amount of €2. If you win the bet then you will make a profit of €2, you will then start the process again and place another €2 on red.

This method starts to develop when you hit a losing spin, so lets say you have placed your €2 stake on red and it loses, you will then double your bet to €4 on red, if this wins then you will receive €8 and again make a profit of €2.

The Martingale strategy can begin to take a toll on your bankroll if you hit a long losing streak as you have to continue doubling your bets every time you lose. So starting with a €2 stake if you hit 10 losing spins then your bets would be the following... €2, €4, €8, €16, €32, €64, €128, €256, €512, €1024. That would be a total of €2046 you had bet and you would then need to keep doubling up until you hit a winning spin, let's say you hit the red on the €1024 stake, you would receive €2048 back thus making your initial stake of €2 as a profit.

This is how the strategy ultimately works regardless on the stake you are playing at, if for example you started out on a €5 stake, when you finally hit the winning spin your profit will be the initial €5 starting stake.

can i beat online roulette with the MARTINGALE roulette method

As you can see from our above example when starting out at just a €2 bet, a run of bad luck can soon see you needing a bankroll in excess of €2000 after just 10 spins of the wheel. Upping your starting bet to €5 and hitting that same losing streak will require a bankroll of over €5000, which seems very dramatic considering that you will only make a profit of €5 if and when you hit the winning spin.

I made a short video in demo play below if you would like to see the Martingale Roulette Strategy in action, and you can see how it works first hand at a €5 starting stake.

This is a system that will mathematically work in the end, but your bets could run into the 1000s if you hit a real spell of bad luck, and you also run the risk of reaching the table bet limit if there is one in place. This is certainly a strategy that you should be cautious with if using, and if you do make a quick profit then it would be wise to cash out your winnings. It is also advisable that if you do try this method than you play on a European Roulette table, this only has one zero so will keep the house edge down to a minimum.

Martingale Strategy Forex

The Martingale system is one of the oldest and most well-known betting systems in existence. It is also one of the easiest to learn, as there are no complicated calculations involved. The required math is very basic, and there are just a couple of simple steps to follow.

As a negative progression system, the Martingale involves increasing your stakes when you lose. It's based on the theory that there is a low probability of you losing a large number of bets in a row, and that you will always win one eventually. As sound as this logic might seem, it's ultimately flawed.

The percentage of gamblers who have tried the Martingale system at one time or another is probably quite high. This is likely to be partly because of its simplicity, and partly because it appears to be a foolproof system at first glance.

Unfortunately, like all other progressive betting systems, this one comes with no guarantee of success. In fact, it is potentially one of the most dangerous systems you can use. You'll understand why if you read through this page. We've covered the system in detail, explaining how it's used and why it doesn't work. New slot wins 2016. We've also provided information on some alternate variations of this system.
